Channel Center is a 1.5M SF mixed-use office, retail, and artist live/work neighborhood which includes urban loft living in both new buildings and re-imagined mill buildings. The area, comprised of 11 buildings in Boston’s Fort Point Channel area, was renamed Channel Center.
The neighborhood was programmed to include a retail street featuring restaurants and artist performance and live/work spaces to preserve a culturally special and diverse place in one of Boston’s fast transitioning areas. The units feature raw concrete and plank floor finishes, exposed steel, ducts and industrial stair detailing to reflect the area’s industrial past.
A marketing suite in a small warehouse building was designed and fit-out with a full-size 2-story model of a townhouse unit for pre-construction sales. The unit features a dramatically lit backdrop of the Boston skyline.
