Vanderbilt Martha Rivers Ingram Commons
Ingram Commons is part of a new seven building quadrangle established to promote freshman class identity. The 115,000 sf 24/7 center houses a 660-seat dining hall, a freshman living room for the historic Peabody campus, a 24/7 campus market, writing center, satellite exercise area and many other services.
Building community was the key focus of this unique and carefully crafted program at Vanderbilt. Two years after its opening, statistics prove that freshman feel more of a belonging at Vanderbilt, and second year retention rates have improved dramatically.
